Laura Nokes

Senior Associate

Laura is a senior associate in the Family Law department based in our Ashford office.

Laura achieved her undergraduate degree, a 2.1 BA in Politics from the University of Leeds, and her Graduate Diploma in Law from the University of Law, securing a Distinction. From there, she took her Legal Practice Course (LPC) with a Master’s in Law, Business, and Management, achieving another Distinction.

Whilst at the University of Law, she volunteered at the National Centre for Domestic Violence, where she interviewed clients and drafted statements to assist them in obtaining non-molestation orders and occupation orders.

Owen White Catlin has been the hub of Laura’s entire career, from where she started as a paralegal in September 2017 to the start of her training contract in all areas of family law and private client, including Wills, probate, and Court of Protection matters. She qualified as a solicitor in October 2019.

In her spare time, Laura enjoys horse riding and sailing. She is very interested in travelling to learn about new cultures, having visited Vietnam and most recently travelled around New Zealand.
